Rooted in cities and regions’ own cultural diversity, development cooperation helps promoting citizens’ commitment to address poverty, injustice and inequalities both at home and abroad. Decentralised cooperation is also an opportunity to promote social cohesion, integration and solidarity at the European and global scale.
